The WENDEL & RADOS sail loft is one of the most modern in Germany. In the 500 m² sailmaker’s shop, all types of sails and canopies are manufactured for the most diverse requirements. 20 employees provide advice and support to our customers and annually produce well over 100 sails with an area of 2500 square metres. Many years of experience and a high level of know-how are the hallmarks of the sailmaker’s staff.

We develop and manufacture sails for all types of yachts based on your suggestions.
Regatta sails from WENDEL & RADOS are successfully sailed to all types of races. The computer software from Prosail and a specially designed plotter/cutter are used for maximum accuracy in sail production. The sailmakers regularly travel to Auckland/New Zealand to exchange ideas with sail designers about current designs and the optimal use of special hardware.
Precisely fitting and powerful symmetrical and asymmetrical headsails are also available from WENDEL & RADOS. We only use fabrics with the highest quality standard of Contender and Dimension Polyant.
As the main supplier for Hanse Yachts AG in the field of convertible tops, WENDEL & RADOS produces several hundred sprayhoods, cockpit tents, biminis and jib covers every year. Only high-quality materials are used for this purpose. Thanks to many years of experience and the high commitment of all employees, it is possible to meet all demands in terms of quality and service. WENDEL & RADOS manufactures various models of spray covers according to your wishes. We use high-quality Yachtmaster tarpaulin fabrics. After the production of hangers, either in sea water resistant aluminium tube or stainless steel tube of the quality AISI316(V4A), a 1 : 1 sample is taken on board. This is then transferred to the cloth in the workshop and adapted to the yacht as precisely as possible after production. High-quality fittings ensure long lasting enjoyment of the respective covers.
