Neue Segel für die Rennyacht „L’Infinité“: Maßgeschneiderte Performance auf dem Wasser
Das Team von Sailing Deluxe erteilte uns einen spannenden Auftrag: Für ihre Rennyacht „ARCHAMBAULT M34“ mit dem Namen L’Infinité durften wir einen kompletten, maßgeschneiderten Segelsatz anfertigen. Diese High-Performance-Yacht ist für ihre Geschwindigkeit und Agilität bekannt – entsprechend hoch waren auch die Anforderungen an das neue Material. Nach intensiven Planungen und enger Abstimmung mit dem Segel Team haben wir uns für ein Set bestehend aus einem Großsegel und zwei Focks entschieden, die aus hochwertigem Aramid Sport gefertigt wurden.
Why Aramid Sport?
Aramid is a particularly high-performance material that is characterised by its excellent strength and low weight. Exactly what is needed for regattas to maximise speed and performance. By using Aramid Sport for the sails of L'Infinité, the yacht can sail ideally in different wind conditions while always remaining stable and responsive. Especially in competitions, where every second counts, this material can give you a decisive advantage.
Perfectly matched to the yacht
Every sail we make is customised to the requirements of the yacht and the team. In this case, it was important for us to develop a design that not only suits the ARCHAMBAULT M34, but also supports the team's ambitious goals. In addition to the choice of materials, we worked intensively on the shape and cut of the sails to ensure maximum speed and manoeuvrability. The result: a mainsail and two jibs that integrate perfectly into the boat and fully utilise the yacht's potential.
Test sail off Warnemünde
Once the sails had been completed, we could hardly wait for the first test sail off Warnemünde. And we were delighted with the result: L'Infinité now glides through the waves with even more speed and proves once again that customised sails can make all the difference.
