Our mast-building workshop with its own mast crane directly on the Ryck offers the ideal conditions for a comprehensive rigging service. Our specialised staff rig and de-rig around 800 sailing yachts a year. The production of new shrouds and stays as well as the production and splicing of running rigging is just as much a part of our range of services as the production, assembly and repair of furling systems, masts and booms, for example. We are also happy to develop customised solutions for special requests.
Masts, booms & furling systems
We manufacture, deliver and install new masts, main and spinnaker booms and furling systems to suit your yacht directly on board. This also includes repairs. We are happy to install your desired mast electrics or manufacture special mast fittings.
Standing rigging
We manufacture shrouds and stays up to 22 mm wire thickness and take on pressings up to 6 mm wire thickness. We also manufacture railings or bracing of all kinds, for example for banisters, car parks or green spaces.
Splicing
Our service includes not only the supply of halyards and sheets but also the production of various splices, for example: eye or core splices for halyard shackles and tackles, endless splices (also on board) for mainsheet or furling systems or the simple splicing in of fender lines.
Winterising and de-rigging
Our rigging service includes a free rig check as well as rigging and de-rigging, including setting the mast, laying the mast and putting up and taking down your sails and the associated ropes. Book our popular all-round service and let us take care of the complete rigging and de-rigging for you!
Last year we came to Wendel & Rados with a broken tree. The large tree was expertly repaired. We have been loyal customers ever since and regularly have our mast erected and laid here.
